Lash Lift/Tint | Brow Lamination/Tint | Henna

-What is a Lash Lift and how long does it last?
A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that enhances the natural lashes by curling and lifting them using a chemical solution combined with lash lift rods or lash lift shields for 6-8 weeks. It gives the appearance of longer, fuller lashes without needing extensions.

-Can I wear makeup after my Lash Lift?
Yes but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.

-How should I care for my lashes after a Lash Lift?
After a lash lift, avoiding getting your lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours and following other lash lift aftercare instructions is essential. This typically includes avoiding heat, steam, oil-based products, and excessively rubbing or touching the lashes.

-How long do I have to wait before getting another Lash Lift?
After 2 months you can schedule an appointment to get another lash lift!

-What is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a noninvasive procedure that realigns the direction of the natural brow pattern in such a way to give you the the appearance of a fuller, fluffier brow!

-Can I get Microblading and a Brow Lamination done on the same day?
Unfortunately, no. You will need to wait a minimum of 5 weeks post microblading to get your brows laminated, and vice versa.

-Why can I only do a Brow Lamination & Tint, but not a Brow Lamination & Henna?
They are both quite drying treatments. When used alone, and with the correct products and aftercare, the brows won’t feel dry, however using these two procedures at the same time can result in serious damage to your brows.
The molecular shape of brow henna is different from traditional brow tint as it is irregular, which is what allows it to grip to both the hair and the skin for a longer period of time. However, this means that it acts as a coating, as opposed to penetrating the hair cuticle and altering the melanin. So this means that if you were to use brow henna instead of brow tint during a brow lamination, the final solution (the hydrating treatment that stops frazzled brows) will not be able to nourish the hair due to the brow henna having created a barrier.

-How long does Brow Lamination last?
Generally, brow lamination lasts from four to six weeks. Depending on how well you look after your brows, it can last up to eight weeks. After the four to six-week period, it's recommended that you get your brows re-laminated in order to maintain the look over a longer period of time.

-How do I take care of my Brow Lamination?
• Avoid getting your brows wet - no water, heat, steam, sweating, pools, tanning beds, or direct sunlight.

• Avoid makeup, makeup remover, toners, cleansers on or around the brows. Using an oil-free makeup remover is always a good idea!

• Avoid scrubbing or touching brows.

• Use the mascara wand given to brush brows into place when needed.

-What is Eyebrow Henna?
Eyebrow henna colors eyebrow hairs and the skin. The purpose of the treatment is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the brow area, visually filling in any sparseness.

-How long does Henna last?
The henna colors the skin for up to 2 weeks and the eyebrow hairs for up to 6 weeks!

What is the difference between the Henna and Tint?
Eyebrow tint offers a more natural appearance and is relatively more subtle. In contrast, henna brows are much darker, more visible, and more dramatic.
This is due to the fact that eyebrow tint solely colors existing strands, while brow henna also stains the skin underneath it in addition to dyeing the hair.
